Stone Masonry Patterns

Coursed stone masonry uses carefully selected stone laid in consistent horizontal courses to create a clean, structured appearance. Subtle variations in stone size and texture preserve the natural character of the material while maintaining visual order. This timeless pattern offers durability and refined craftsmanship, making it ideal for retaining walls, foundations, and architectural accents in both modern and traditional designs.

Ledgestone honors the natural stratification of quarried stone, installed in horizontal courses that visually echo the way the rock formed in the earth. This pattern emphasizes length and linearity, creating walls that feel anchored and purposeful while still expressing the inherent texture and character of the stone. Ideal for both architectural veneers and structural features, ledgestone brings a refined rhythm to any elevation.

Random Rubble

Random rubble celebrates stone in its most organic form. Here, stones are used with minimal shaping, preserving irregular edges, varied faces, and natural proportions. Without defined courses, each wall tells a unique visual story — rich in texture and variation. This pattern suits landscapes and structures where a rugged, timeless quality is desired, capturing the true essence of natural stonework.

Random mosaic uses irregularly shaped pieces arranged into a visually engaging, non-coursed composition. Unlike rubble, the focus is on creating interconnected shapes that both fit together like a puzzle and celebrate diversity in form. This pattern adds visual complexity and artistic flair, making it a standout choice for decorative walls, patios, or accent features.

Ashlar stonework elevates ledgestone by incorporating precision-cut corners and consistent face dimensions. Stones are carefully squared and arranged into defined courses, producing a clean yet dynamic grid of horizontal and vertical lines. This pattern bridges the natural beauty of stone with the crisp order of architectural geometry, perfect for high-end veneers and refined masonry installations.
